Permit and GIS-heavy workflows should feel steadier this week in Civic Review—especially when you’re collecting fees and reviewing maps.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue where payments on event-based permits (including initial fees) didn’t always record, so invoices and payment records are now created reliably.
• Kept map drawing tools from cutting out during reviews, so you can continue drawing shapes, markers, and polygons without interruptions.

You can now import historic Providence business-license and dog-license records into Civic Review, so past permits and renewals appear alongside current work.

• Providence data importers (Business Licenses + Dog Licenses): Bring Providence business-license and dog-license history into Civic Review so staff can see key dates, prior review history, and supporting notes in the right places from day one.

May 11, 2026 - May 17, 2026 — If you’re migrating Amelia County data, you can now bring building and trade permits into Civic Review faster, with fewer manual fixes.

New Features

• Amelia County Building Importer: Import Amelia County building and trade permit CSVs directly into Civic Review, with dates, inspections, fees, and notes mapped during import so your historical records come over cleanly.

New Features

• Configurable inspection request email notifications: Choose which staff members get an email when a resident submits an inspection request, and update the list anytime in Inspection Request Settings. Each email includes the request details and a direct link to view it in the inspection app. Staff who are removed from your organization are automatically removed from the notification list.

Improvements

• Clearer readability across Civic Review: Updated colors improve contrast for text, links, and buttons.

April 20, 2026 - April 26, 2026 — Civic Review now warns you when a permit detail edit could change calculated fees or valuations, so you can confirm the updated amounts before you finalize.
